Reboot Manager - This software is a reboot monitoring program.
This program will remotely reboot all computers in your list. This is useful after installing security patches that require a reboot. It will also monitor computers by checking that all services before the reboot are the same after restarting.
- Add your list of servers.
- Check the reboot button
- Check the box "Check Services" (if desired.) If you add a service name to the Ignore Services box, it will ignore those services. this can be used on demand as needed
- You can change the threads to reboot a number of servers at a time. By default its three computers at a time.
- Click start and the software will start rebooting.
- Rescan Services button reevaluates the services of a select computer. In order to use this function you must first select a computer, then hit Rescan Services. Since some services take a while to load after a reboot, it will recheck if all services from before the reboot are the same after.
Reevaluation through Rescan Services will apply the Ignore Services function.
